Salary is competitive with excellent benefits.Reporting into the Shared Services Manager, the Payroll Manager role will be responsible for the management of monthly payroll services for London based employees, including payroll administration and dealing with ad-hoc employee queries. The Payroll Manager will also have oversight of Discovery's payroll function in other European offices. Exciting projects will include the implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance processes, the review of internal control procedures and participation in HR systems initiatives. Additionally, the Payroll Manager will manage our freelancer payroll and the relationship with the external provider. A UK payroll specialist, you will have international payroll exposure in your previous experience. You will have identified efficiencies and enhanced procedures in the payroll services. With experience of SAP financial and HR systems, you will also demonstrate experience in payroll-related accounting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential and you will be used to dealing with employee queries and working with international finance teams. Excellent project management skills are required as is the ability to work independently and proactively.
