The Payroll Liaison Officer is responsible for executing strategy in relation to how payroll is delivered to the group. The role is responsible for managing the relationship, service provision and MI / reporting requirements from our 3rd party payroll provider . Will manage all payment authorisation activity and be the 2nd line / escalation point of contact to the group for enquiries in relation to payroll. Will support & work closely with HR Programme Office in relation payroll MI & reporting required by the group.
Requirements
You must have:
good experience and proven track record of payroll ideally within an HR environment
experience of HR operational delivery track record and strong commitment to delivering against promises
solid understanding of taxation and statutory law in relation to payroll
strongly demonstrates behaviors and values
able to establish credibility with suppliers and key HR customers
strong customer centricity and experience of process improvement
a "working with" attitude
experience of using payroll systems
payroll & benefits knowledge
solid analytical skills
strong excel skills and ideally has knowledge of crystal reports
experience of snowdrop HR/payfact is also required
