This position will involve reviewing processes and making recommendations on where payroll process improvements can be made. This will involve reviewing ESR benefits realisation priorities, maximising payroll quality improvements and increasing HR/Finance productivity.If you have experience of implementing internal payroll process changes, payroll fault diagnosis, developing ESR reports and monitoring the performance of payroll suppliers then this position could be for you. The role will require you to develop a framework to demonstrate payroll quality improvements and cost savings possibilities. This may involve changing payroll providers, reviewing current payroll contracts and reviewing existing SLAs, in order to develop a project plan to communicate recommendations at board level.To be considered for this position you should have previous experience of project management, ESR (including understanding the differences between ESR HR and ESR Payroll), payroll processing (from start to finish), quality improvement techniques, payroll audit techniques, NHS payroll procedures ( using ESR ), payroll supplier tenders & SLA's and have significant experience in managing a successful payroll team.
