Large national organisation seeks experienced Payroll Administrator to provide a payroll service across the business, working closely with internal and external customers to ensure excellence in service delivery.Detailed DescriptionAdministrates and is responsible for specific divisions;Makes best use of all IT systems to deliver an excellent service, identifying and communicating improvements where necessary;Ensure new starter details, salary calculation, tax documents and entitlements are correct;Process all leavers on a timely basis;Up to date with knowledge of current legislation - Tax, National Insurance, SSP, SMP, SPP & SAP;Ensure that any requests from third parties i.e. DSS are dealt with promptly;Prepares and inputs data onto the system in line with company procedures and legislation; Maintains accurate and confidential records;Validates data input;Investigates and resolves identified discrepancies;Meets daily/weekly/monthly deadlines;Delivers service which exceeds customers expectations;Ensure confidential filing is up to date;Complete third party requests promptly. E.g. mortgage enquiries, Benefit Agency requests and general tax queries;Set up new Court orders/AEO's & DEO's;Set up new joiners in the pension scheme.Requirements:a minimum of three years payroll experience;ideally have a payroll qualification, preferably IPP;be computer literate;excellent Microsoft Office skills;to be able to calculate PAYE, NIC, Statutory payments and Court Orders manually;a flexible approach;to able to work to tight deadlines;to be a team player.
