Ambridge Harris are recruiting for a global business based in Bristol who are looking to recruit a Payroll Manager due to an internal restructure. This role will involve you looking after 6 supervisor and 20 payrollers indirectly.
You will be responsible for the operation of the company's Shared Service Payroll, the administration of the company's benefits in kind, motor car and expenses administration systems and the integration of payroll systems into the Group's UK Shared Service Payroll.
You will have overall responsibility for the operation of the Group's UK Shared Service Payroll systems, ensuring that both the Company's and HMRC and Contributions Agency (i.e. statutory) rules, procedures etc. are applied as appropriate to payroll, benefits in kind and expenses administration etc. systems. You will need to control and motivate the Payroll Department staff, either through supervision, or directly with direct reports, and keep abreast of developments and issues which are relevant to, and which may impact on, the Payroll function (e.g. internal remuneration systems proposals, legislation developments)
You will ideally need to be IPP Qualified or have the equivalent experience, have significant payroll administrator experience at management level and strong communication skills. If you have experience of using Resourcelink, Cognos or SAP this would be useful. This role will involve travel to another office but all travel will be expense covered.
